Imagine That! "Kindermusik Imagine That!" takes the preschooler on a
musical journey of discovery and exploration…a journey limited only by the power of imagination. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement, and literature to capture the preschooler’s potential to learn and to encourage cognitive and literacy skills, creativity and individuality. Designed for active and imaginative children ages 3 to 5, "Imagine That! See What I Saw" classes encourage socialization and sharing in group activities. The class also focuses on developing a steady beat, balance, and motor coordination through active participation in the musical journey. The parent and child have fun together in the last 10-15 minutes of class during Sharing Time. Classes start Saturday, September 10, 9:15-10:15 am. The cost is $40 per month with an initial cost of $65 for at-home materials. Class limit is 10. Kindermusik for the Young Child foundation while also learning social, mathematic and iteracy skills. The focus is on vocal training, percussion work (including glockenspiel), early note/rhythm reading, active listening and musical movement using a wide variety of musical styles. The program is designed to prepare children, ages 5-7, who are not yet ready for private lessons. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class. Classes start Saturday, September 10, 10:30-11:45 am. The cost is $50 per month with an initial cost of $75 for at-home materials (includes glockenspiel). Class limit is 12. |
